Welcome three new chocolate/orange/white Texel babies to the world! Seabreeze finally had her litter on 22. One of the pups, IPP Bite Size, is a boy, while IPP Pig Who Shall Not Be Named and IPP Jingle Belles are girls as far as we know. Jingle Belles has a corneal abrasion in one eye, but we are treating it and it should get better, as corneal abrasions happen fairly often in Texels.

Big Savings (Finally) Gets a Girlfriend!
We sent Big Savings off to a temporary home recently. A friend and fellow ARBA member had bought a TSW sow and was looking for a Texel boar to breed her with. Me and Sharyl M. (The friend) worked out an agreement- I would send her the boar for one breeding and then I would get him back. Once the babies are old enough to be weaned, I will get to pick one baby to keep. Both me and Sharyl are very excited for the litter. Big Savings has been with the sow for about a month now, and Sharyl thinks the sow is slightly pregnant.

"Wheek" Sparklepants
As anyone who read "Cher Sparklepants, Rock Diva" knows, Cher is- was- pregnant. She gave birth on Christmas day while I was visiting relatives. When I got back, I ran down to see if she had delivered. I didn't notice the baby at first, just that Cher's belly wasn't firm like a pregnant sow's should be. I tried to take her out when I spotted the baby out of the corner of my eye. She was huge! Sadly she did not make it, because she was too big. When my mom came down, she asked me if we should name it, and I said yes. While I was thinking of a name, Cher, very insistently, wheeked, giving the baby its name. I delayed putting this on the website for a long time because that was a very tough week for me ( my bunny had passed away 2 days earlier.)
